I am so excited for Tania Oronoz and Cesar Felix’s wedding , May 7, 2011! The ceremony will reside at the Saint Brendan Church, while the reception will be at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. It is going to be a beautiful, fun-filled day with this lovely couple! I am so happy they let me be a part of their special day!
Mr and Mrs. Hedrick!
The ceremony residing in the grassy area at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens was exceptionally touching. It began with a friend playing classical and worship music on a guitar and the bride and groom’s mothers lighting the unity candles. The wedding guests sat in awe as Gervaise and Michael stood underneath the beautifully decorated arch reciting their vows. The bride and groom were ecstatic to be pronounced “Mr. And Mrs. Hedrick!”
After the service, the guests were directed to the cocktail area to enjoy light appetizers and cocktails while the wedding party took photographs.
It was now time to open the reception area. A little over 100 guests were astonished by the table setups surrounding the fountain. Apple red table cloths were beautifully placed on each table with fruitwood chivari chairs along with floral centerpieces on every table.
The loving bride and groom made their grand entrance and began with their first dance to “Everything I do (I do it for you)” by Bryan Adams. I could see the affection and devotion as they slow danced.
Gervaise’s father and Michael’s mother at one point were invited to the dance floor in the circle. The bride danced with her father to “The way you look tonight” by Frank Sinatra and the groom danced with his mother to “Mama” by Boys II Men.
The Party was heartwarming and entertaining as the program involved activities such as the money dance, Bouquet and garter toss, and cake cutting.
I absolutely treasured working with Gervaise and Michael on their wedding day. They had this passion and love for each other that I could not explain. The way they look at each other and stare at one another, seemed as if no one in the world existed. Thank you guys for letting us be a part of your special day and best wishes to you both!
Thank you from the Bride and Groom: “We wanted to say thank you again for helping us plan the most beautiful wedding ever. We truly appreciate you professionalism, creativity, and your care. It really showed. The guests were as impressed as we were; and still are. Wow, what a beautiful day it was! Thank you!!!”

Tanya & Shawn’s Dream Wedding / March 20,2010
Let me help you create the wedding of your dreams as I did for Tanya and Shawn Mckendry.
Tanya and Shawn wanted a fairytale wedding yet they wanted to make it contemporary and fun.Tanya was a modern and glamorous bride. It was exciting to hear Tanya and Shawn’s vision of their wedding day. She had the great idea to display her mother’s and grandmother’s wedding dresses and pictures which made her wedding that much more special for her family and friends who attended.
The candy Station gave a sweet and special touch to the wedding!
Tanya and Shawn used an elegant mixture of gold, black, pink and deep red.
Here is what they had to say about their wedding:
“Thanks to Luz Pencyla and her team of professional staff, she created the fairytale wedding that I’ve always dreamed of! From the first moment we met, I knew that she was the one who would be able to realize my vision for our wedding. She knew exactly what I wanted and paid very close attention to the smallest of details. She made the planning so easy for us, we never had to worry about anything. In fact she provided us a with a budget breakdown and itinerary so we could design our day as we wanted. The day of our wedding everything ran smoothly, the food was amazing and she even went the extra mile for us. She carefully displayed our family heirlooms and then carefully packaged them up for our Moms to take home. Our guests were absolutely BLOWN AWAY from the beginning of the event to the very end. She thought of everything! We received so many compliments from our family and friends and continue to hear about how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever attended. We are proud to share Luz Pencyla with our friends and in fact… I think she may have picked up a few soon to be brides at our wedding! Luz… we absolutely appreciate everything! Thank you for making our dream wedding come true! With much love, Tanya and Shawn Mckendry”

A wedding is the most important day for a couple. As a wedding planner I understand the importance of making this day memorable and special.
In 2009 we had many amazing weddings in many beautiful venues!!! Some were indoor and others were outdoor.
Los Angeles River Center and Gardens is the perfect place for a memorable wedding. As you enter the gates you encounter the courtyard with a lovely fountain, beautiful trees and amazing architecture.
